Planning notes

The first pass is practical. Can trucks enter and turn around? Is there a covered building, slab, gravel pad, or stable laydown area? Does water leave the site without running through staged material? Is the property close enough to active work in Decatur, Scottsboro, Huntsville, Birmingham, or nearby North Alabama counties to make hauling make sense?

Strong property submissions include photos from the road, entrance, building doors, inside storage area, open yard, slope, low spots, nearby drainage paths, and any place a truck would have to back, turn, or load out.

If land disturbance, filling, grading, or stormwater discharge could be involved, the site may need permit or professional review before any operational decision is made.

What to include before dispatch

  • Property address, owner contact, and whether lease terms can be discussed.
  • Available acreage, covered square footage, door height, floor or pad condition, and photos.
  • Truck access, gate width, turn-around space, drainage paths, and nearby road limits.
  • Any zoning, stormwater, environmental, neighbor, or prior-use concerns that need review.
