Planning notes
A dirt request should explain what needs to move, where it needs to go, and when the site is ready. An equipment repair request should explain what machine is down, what failed, and where a technician can reach it. Keeping those two scopes clear makes it easier to decide whether the dirt crew, the machine technician, or both need to be scheduled.
Use the repair notes to document whether the issue sounds like DEF/regen, hydraulic, electrical, welding, line boring, or preventive maintenance work.
What to include before dispatch
- Where water stands, washes, or flows toward a structure.
- Whether the site needs rough grade, finish grade, swales, fill, or drainage correction.
- Approximate work area, low spots, rutting, slope, and soft-ground notes.
- Access for grading equipment and whether material must be brought in or removed.
