Planning notes

A clean fill listing needs more than a quick note that dirt is available. Include the pile location, material quality, access path, approximate load count, photos, and whether a loader is on site.

If the dirt is clean and accessible, it may be useful to a nearby pad, low spot, driveway, or grading project. If it is mixed, wet, contaminated, or hard to reach, it may need a regular haul-off request instead.

What to include before dispatch

  • Pad use, approximate dimensions, finished height, and drainage direction.
  • Material preference and whether compaction, proof-roll, or engineering review is expected.
  • Gate width, truck access, overhead lines, and staging room.
  • Photos, plan sheets, or notes from the builder, owner, or engineer.
